How can we help your child?

We are Mark and Mandy, plus a great team of teachers who prepare children for selective entrance exams for Grammar Schools and Independent Schools plus we now offer GCSE Maths and English.

We are specialists in our field and over 1000 children have reached the required standard for their chosen school with our support.

We have tutored children for our local selective school, Heckmondwike Grammar School, for over twelve years and have gained a vast amount of knowledge and experience.

We have produced our own bespoke materials designed to help students prepare for their entrance test.

The sessions and structured, fast paced and stretch the most able of students.

Our materials cover maths, English, and patterns (non-verbal reasoning) plus Verbal Reasoning 

We are very proud that 146 of our students gained a place at their chosen school this year.

We offer ONLINE sessions throughout the week.

We can also offer tuition and support to all children of primary school age through our partners, Graham and Sarah.

If you want to prepare your child for grammar school entry or your goal is to improve your child’s confidence and skills, we offer an extremely professional, personalised service.

Weekly Work for Year 4 children

We have produced a full year curriculum for year 4 children sitting the 11+ Style Test in the autumn of 2025.

Each week contains verbal reasoning (English), numerical reasoning (Maths) and non-verbal reasoning (puzzles involving shapes and patterns).

Within each pack is four weeks of work.

Y4 Classes are taught by Graham Hilton - A highly experienced teacher who recently resigned his headship to join the team

The materials are designed to be used during your online Zoom sessions.

Upon purchase you will automatically receive two emails. One is the confirmation and the second email contains a link to download the materials and zoom logins for the session- If this email does not arrive within a couple of minutes please check your email junk/spam folder.

The materials can be downloaded onto any device. If possible, I would recommend using a pc as phone screens are small and a little fiddly.

Please have materials printed out and ready for use prior to your session.
