11+ VOCABUALRY & COMPREHNSION BOOSTER

Our 11+ Vocabulary and Comprehension Booster Class is perfect to give students the extra practice and reinforcement of knowledge they need to put them in the best stead for the 11+ examination. Sessions will help students finetune their exam skills by exposing them to all the different types of English comprehension and vocabulary tasks that they are likely to encounter in the 11+ exam, and by providing them with the reading strategies and exam techniques they will need to succeed. The wide range of activities and regular practice at dissecting passages of an advanced reading age will help broaden students’ vocabulary, improve their knowledge of grammar, and refine their reading and comprehension abilities with regard to retrieval and inference style questions. These sessions will be of particular benefit to those students who need encouraging to read more extensively.

Throughout the blocks students will become more confident and competent readers who are well-prepared for the 11+ exam, and who have a better understanding of the vocabulary and comprehension concepts that they need to know in order to succeed in secondary school.

This additional course helps consolidate the learning of new vocabulary from the standard weekly session (crucial for the 11+) and covers the strategies to successfully answer complex comprehension tasks.

This pack contains four weeks of materials and and the zoom links to join your session.

The materials are designed to be used during your online Zoom sessions.
